Short answer Yes
Moonshot EHR provides a chat widget for the clinic's own website that answers questions from the live service catalog and the clinic's written rules, finds open slots and books a real appointment, captures leads and takes messages for staff. It installs with one script tag and is unlocked by the AI package at $100 per location per month.
How it works in Moonshot
- Add one script tag to any site. A human check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs inside the panel, and only origins the clinic has approved can embed it.
- The assistant lists services, programs and prices from the catalog, answers from up to 8,000 characters of clinic-written rules, and offers the booking calendar as a card inside the chat.
- One booking per conversation; leads are created with a website-chat source; messages become tasks. A visitor's message is mirrored onto the matched patient's Communications thread.
- Transcripts are available to the owner in Settings. Sessions last 24 hours, with a default cap of 500 messages a day per clinic.
Limits, stated plainly
- It never looks up or confirms whether someone is a patient, and it refuses medical advice. Crisis language gets 911 and 988 guidance.
- English only. Prices come from the catalog only; if a service is not in the catalog, the assistant says it does not know.
- Runs on Claude through Amazon Bedrock. No visitor IP addresses are stored.
What it costs
AI package: $100 per location per month, including $25 of AI usage shared with the staff assistant; usage beyond that is billed at model cost plus 10 percent.
